Hello!I studied Computer Science at the Universität-Gesamthochschule Paderborn. During this time, I worked 3,5 years as Systemadministrator for FB10/Verfahrenstechnik (Process Engineering) as a part-time job. In 1999 I joined SUSE LINUX, where I'm working in the distribution team on the SUSE LINUX core system. I'm also responsible for maintaining the infrastructure for building the distributions. I developed SUSE's SPARC distribution and I'm now one of the main responsible Projectmanagers for the SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server (SLES). From May 2003 until December 2005 I was a member of the board of directors of the Free Standards Group, since them I'm in the LSB Steering Committee. In my spare time I read books, play board games, hack on my Linux box or go dancing. |

| I have also written some PAM modules and applications for SuSE Linux. The goal was to replace the shadow suite by a PAM solution, which is as compatible as possible and uses nearly the same config files and options. | ||||
